Magicon mobile phones – M1, M2 and mNote launched

One of the Leading Telecom service provider, “Aircel” in collaboration with,”Magicon” importer and distributor of innovative products & services, has launched a new series of Smartphones including,”Magicon M1, Magicon M2 and Magicon mNote” in the Indian market.

Magicon Impex has just forayed into the phablet segment to create to create an newfangled buzz in the Indian market with budget smartphones and technology. Magicon M1, M2 and mNote all the 3 supports Dual Sim. Specifying towards Magicon M1 and M2, they both sports a descent 3.5 inch WVGA Ultratouch touchscreen display and M1 and M2 runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread Operating System powered with single core 1 GHZ processor. In terms of photography, both Magicon M1 and M2 is equipped with 5 MEGAPIXEL rear camera. However, M1 also offers a front camera (VGA) for video calling. Dealing with their Connectivity, M1 is a 2G smartphone with edge connectivity whereas M2 support 3G connectivity, however, both the models comes with Bluetooth and WiFi and proximity sensor. Both the mobiles comes with popular apps like Skype, Facebook, Twitter, Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja already pre-installed. Battery Specfication of M1 and M2 remains undisclosed. The price of Magicon M1 is Rs 4,499 and Magicon M2 is Rs 4,999.

On this occasion, Pankaj Anand Chief Executive Officer of Magicon, stated,”Compared to all other touch screen phones available in the market today, our phone offer the most superior user experience. We are in the process of expanding our channel network and retail presence. We are offering an additional warranty of 6 months because we are very sure of the quality and durability of our products”.

Magicon mNote features a display of 5-inch WVGA with 16 million colours. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system powered up with a dual-core 1 GHz processor. In terms of Camera optics, Magicon mNote is equipped with a regular front camera and an 8.0 MEGAPIXEL rear camera with auto-focus and flash and a proximity sensor. In terms of Connectivity, mNote can create a Wi-Fi hotspot around itself for sharing internet connectivity with other devices. To power it up, mNote includes a 2,000 mAh battery. The Magicon mNote is available at Rs. 9,999. Some of the pre-installed application like Skype, Facebook, Twitter and Angry birds and Fruit Ninja are also made available.

Jitendra Rahi, National Distribution Head,Aircel also stated,”We are at the cusp of a data tsunami in our country and it’s important for us to take a lead in data products. Aircel with the launch of Magicon M1, Magicon M2 and Magicon mNote are offering attractive voice and data plans from Aircel including 250 minutes talk time, 250 SMSes and 1 GB data for three months. All the phone are packed with 4 GB of memory card and a warranty cover of 18 months.
