Audio Video Calling Feature Now On “X”

Elon Musk’s X, formerly known as Twitter, has recently introduced a new audio and video calling feature for its users. The official announcement was made in August. Currently, this feature is only accessible to premium members, but even non-subscribers can receive calls. Although it is currently limited to iOS users, it has been confirmed that it will soon be available on Android as well.

According to a post by X on the platform, only premium subscribers will be able to make video and audio calls. However, all accounts on X will still be able to receive calls if the corresponding setting has been enabled. The subscription price for X is Rs 650 per month or Rs 6,800 per year.

X provides complete control over this feature, allowing users to enable or disable it based on their preference in the message settings. Additionally, users can choose the individuals who can call them on the platform, including those from their address book.

The screenshot was also shared on its website showing the option to enable audio and video calling.

To enable video and voice calls on 𝕏: Go to Settings > Privacy & Safety > Direct Messages > Enable Audio & Video Calling.
