Xiaomi to Unveil Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro: Leaked Details Hint at Impressive Features

The tablet, codenamed “sheng,” reflecting a musical instrument in Chinese, follows Xiaomi’s tradition of using musical instrument names for Pad series codenames. With a model number of “N81A,” the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro boasts a 10-inch panel manufactured by Tianma, signaling a departure from the 11-inch display featured in its predecessor, the Pad 6 Pro.

The tablet is expected to incorporate an LCD panel with a resolution of 1480×2367 and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. Leaks suggest that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro could be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, as previously indicated by a leak from Digital Chat Station.

GSMChina’s report also hints at a quad-stereo speaker system, reminiscent of the Pad 6 Pro, and anticipates the device running on HyperOS based on Android 14. Interestingly, it is suggested that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro may be exclusively available in the Chinese market, akin to its predecessor.

As of now, there has been no official announcement from Xiaomi regarding the Pad 7 series. It’s important to note that Xiaomi is gearing up for a major event on November 29, where the Redmi K70 series smartphones and other products are expected to be launched, though it remains to be seen if the Xiaomi Pad 7 series will make an appearance.
