Lava Iris 356 and Iris 402 dual core Android Jelly Bean announced

Entry level segment of smartphones in India is now one of the most populous segment in smartphone category. This range now includes countless devices introduced by gadgets manufacturer’s from all over the world. Some of the domestic manufacturers like Lava, Micromax, Intex, iBall, Karbonn and many more holds a wide part under this contribution. And to continue pouring more smartphones in this range, “Lava” has announced to add to new edition to expand it’s entry level range of smartphones segment in India.

These two new entrant are dubbed as Lava Iris 356 and Iris 402 . Both the smartphones offered with handsome specifications and features to lure entry level buyers, this new smartphone will surely fascinate youth with their smart pricing and decent features. Picking the first one in the line up named as Lava Iris 402 and specifying it’s technical details and specifications, this device sports a decent 4 inch of capacitive touch screen display with 480 x 800 of pixels resolution. The size of the screen is good which enable the user to enjoy the full eco-system of Android on large screen. Dealing with it’s platform dependency, this device sails on Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system and is one of the main highlight of this smartphone. This device comes with a dual core processor running at a clock speed of 1.2 GHz giving adequate processing power to this device.

It supports Dual Sim(GSM+GSM) with dual standby technology, this feature is very much popular among Indians as it allows a single user activity on to two Sim’s at a single instant of time. In terms of memory, the device has only 256 MB of ram which is big let down however, what else you can expect from a device at this price. Internal memory is of 512MB in which 100MB is available for user usage, it can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of micro SD card slot, certainly internal storage is not very exciting. However, other specifications like storage, connectivity, battery power and all the features are the same as we mentioned for Lava Iris 402.

The Lava Iris 356 will be available in Crystal White, Black and Grey and is priced at Rs. 4,449, while the Iris 402 would be available in Crystal White, Grey and Red colors and is priced at Rs. 5,499. Both are expected to be launched soon.
