Samsung, one of the leading pioneer in the gadget industry has finally revealed the price and launch its much debated device in the tablet segment named as Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. The price of Tab 3 311 is priced at Rs 25,725 and tab3 310 will be available for Rs 21,945. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3
Samsung devices are very popular in the Indian market and as per the recorded statistics last year Samsung Galaxy device has a record sales in India. This Galaxy Tab 3 will be a successor of Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 which is now running well under its price range. The basic behind the launch of Galaxy Tab 3 innovates from the success of Galaxy Tab 2 only.
Coming towards the specification of this gadget, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 311 and 310 have identical specification except that Tab 3 311 support SIM connectivity and Tab3 310 is WiFi only tablet. In terms of display both the tablets -Tab3 311 and 310, sports a huge 8 inch of capacitive touch screen display with a 1280×800 pixel resolution which makes the user to enjoy the fun of large screen. Besides, they are 7.4 mm thick and have slimmer waist line which makes it less thicker than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.
Dealing with the platform dependency, both the variant sails on Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system powered with a dual core processor running at a clock speed of 1.5 GHz. In terms of storage specifications, both the devices are powered with 1.5 GB RAM which makes the overall performance more smoother and faster, 16 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 64 GB with a micro SD card. To make the photography experience more exciting and full of fun, this device comes with both the primary and secondary snapper options. On the back, primary camera is rated at 5 MEGAPIXEL which is nice to capture good quality pictures.
Both the tablet have features like Multi Window (access two apps on a single screen), Smart Stay, Reading Mode, IR remote control which can be used as a universal remote, and Pop up video. In terms of design Tab 3 311 and 310 have the same design as the rest of the product under Galaxy brand. I had a feeling that Samsung Galaxy Tab3 311 and 310 very closely resemble Note 510 minus the S Pen stylus. A chrome strip surround both the tablets and in case of Samsung Galaxy Tab3 311 one will find 3G SIM slot in the left side panel of the tablet, and the feature that are common both the tablets are micro USB port and two speakers as are placed at the bottom, headphones jack in the top, and right houses the power button along with the volume rocker and left side panel has micro SD card port which is covered by a plastic flap.
To make the life going on for this device, it is equipped with 4450mAh of battery. The Tab 3 311 comes with 2GB of free data per month for 2 months from Vodafone. These tablets would be available across India starting 21st July, Sunday onwards.
