The Mi 6 delivers on its promise and features an all-new design that comes with its own distinct identity. The Mi 6 has curved glass on the front and back with a stainless steel frame in between that has a polish which takes 12 days and 40 processes to achieve.
Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi 6 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest processor – the Snapdragon 835. The 10nm processor is 35 percent smaller and 25 percent more efficient than its predecessor. With this, the Mi 6 has joined an elite league of smartphones having the SD 835 chipset.
The smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM ( DDR4X 64 bit dual-channel memory) as standard across all variants along with 64/128GB of internal storage and a 3,350mAh battery. Xiaomi claims that the battery can easily last a day thanks to certain battery-saving tricks in MIUI such as freezing background data from running the background, restricting errant applications from starting up and so on.
Dual Cameras
The Xiaomi Mi 6 comes with a dual camera setup at the rear – a 12MP wide-angle sensor with 4-axis optical image stabilisation and a 12MP telephoto lens. Just like on the iPhone 7 Plus, the telephoto lens allows for 2X optical lossless zoom which exists along with the 10X digital zoom.
