Lava E-Tab Connect 3G with Voice Calling launched

Populating the market with another Tablet, adding a new element to it’s portfolio, Lava Mobiles has introduced a new gadget under it’s premium series of tablets named,”Lava E Tab Connect” in the Indian market. Lava E-Tab Connect has been launched with a price tag of Rs 9,499.

With the launch of ETab Connect under such a budget friendly price-tag , Lava is looking to attract budget conscious tech savvy folks. E-Tab Z7C measures 122.6 X 194 X 10 mm in dimension and weighs 350 g, making the tablet very easy to carry with you. Dealing with the display specifications, Lava E-Tab Connect features 7-inch WVGA Capacitive Touchscreen with 800×480 pixels resolution. However, recently launched Lava Etron Xtab score more in terms of resolution power. Viewing the device Platform dependency, this device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System powered with a Single Core Qualcomm MSM7227A processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, and its bit surprising why company has launched it with ICS while Android 4.1 JB is now standard and being used in all latest tablets and gadgets. One of the most noticeable feature of this device is support for Single SIM functionality with inbuilt 3G and voice calling functionality. In terms of Storage specifications, Lava E-Tab Connect supports 512MB DDR3 RAM with 4GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB via micro SD card slot. Specifying the device Photography Specifications, it comes with 2 MEGAPIXEL of primary camera with video recording and a VGA front facing camera rated at 0.3 MEGAPIXEL.

Briefing towards it’s Connectivity support, Lava E-TAB Connect support inbuild 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, USB port and a 3.5 mm Audio jack. To power it up, it is equipped with 3000 mAh of battery which the company claims to deliver 3 to 3.5 hours of talktime.
