Blackberry Mobiles, counted among the list of premium phone manufacturers has officially announced the full QWERTY sibling of companys leading device in the premium range of Smartphones segment named as Blackberry Q5. This official announcement took place in Orlando, USA. The start of the Blackberry Live 2013 annual conference began with – a Qwerty device for emerging markets.
Blackberry Q5 Smartphone
At the press meet, along with the official announcement of Blackberry Q5 company has also disclosed the launch of Blackberry 10.1 Operating system. Blackberry 10.1 is the company’s new operating system or an upgraded version of the previously launched BB10 Operating System. However, not all the details and specifications were disclosed at the event though we have some it’s specifications available from the sources. In terms of display, Blackberry Q5 flaunts around 3.1 inch of touchscreen display. With 3.1 inch of screen size it flush out an unusual resolution of 720 x 720, the same which we spotted in Blackberry Q10. However the resolution of both these devices are same but Blackberry Q5 is equipped with LCD display. The BlackBerry Q5 features a classic BlackBerry Keyboard with discrete keys that has been re-engineered and elegantly designed which help the client to type fast, accurately by employing a least amount of effort. It will be offered with an Instant Action shortcuts which helps you to perform task more quicker.
In terms of it’s Platform dependency, this device sails on Blackberry 10.1 Operating System (latest version) powered with a Dual core processor at a clock speed of 1.2GHz. Blackberry Enterprise Server 10.1 includes a new enterprise instant messaging client which works with Microsoft or IBM Lotus systems, simplified deployment, new usage reporting capabilities, more policies, and improved support options.

Enumerating it’s Photography Specifications, this device will include a digital camera that supports the Time Shift mode, which enable the user to snap multiple image in a single time and lets you choose the best shot. One of the biggest drawback of this device is that the camera’s sensor is a less-sensitive and rated at 5 MEGAPIXEL. It also allows you to discover and share great application with recommendations based on similar purchases, and access to more than 100,000 apps on the BlackBerry World storefront.
We also came to know, blackberry Q5 will be available in selected markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia including the Asia Pacific region, and Latin America, with availability beginning in July. The smartphone will be offered in black, white, red and pink.
