Samsung Z1, which is a budget smartphone runs on Tizen , a new operating system developed by Samsung with Huawei Technologies and Intel Corp to challenge the Android software that powers most of the world’s mobile devices.
It is said that phone has received good acceptance and now will be manufactured in India at there Noida facility.
The phone Z1, is a dual SIM device powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 768MB RAM and 4GB internal memory expandable up to 64GB. It features four-inch display, 3.1MP rear and a VGA front camera and 1,500mAh battery.
The device was showcased at the Tizen Developer Conference in San Francisco last year. However, bringing manufacturing means either company will have better margins or company could pass benefit to consumer thus we may see better phones at cheaper price.
