OnePlus, one of the most anticipated Chinese brand known for flagship devices on budget is all set to launch their upcoming device, the OnePlus Five this summer. Although there is no official words from the company but Gearbest has came up with alleged leaked specification of the device.
As per the leaks, the smartphone will be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 clocked at 2.3 GHz and comes packed with 8 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM (which can be expandable up to 128 GB via Micro SD Card). The OnePlus 5 will sports a 5.5-inch display boasting resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The Handset will be powered by a 4000 mAh non-removable battery which is bigger than its predecessor OnePlus 3T.
As per with all new devices, the OnePlus 5 will run latest Android Nougat 7.1 out of the box along with 4G-enabled Dual nano SIM card slots. As per alleged leaks, it comes with 23 MP camera module on the back along with 16 MP camera module on the front (the leaked specs do not mention a dual-camera setup on the back). And interestingly there is only Bluetooth 4.2 support instead of latest iteration of Bluetooth V5.
Interestingly OnePlus decided to skip the 4 because it is considered unlucky number in China. OnePlus has not issued any official statement about the specifications of the upcoming device. So may be some of the hardware specifications are going to change in the final product.
