Oppo Dual Selfie Camera Focused Smartphone F3 launched at Rs. 19,990

The Chinese electronics manufacturer OPPO Electronics Corp has launched the Oppo F3 for the Indian market on Thursday. It is the latest edition of the company’s selfie focused F series and its the smaller sibling of F3 Plus. Oppo launched this dual selfie camera smartphone at a price of Rs 19,990.

This handset is exclusively available up for Pre-order on Flipkart and the first sale will begin on May 13 across 25 cities in the country.

Design and Display

In terms of design it is very identical to its bigger sibling F3 Plus and it comes with a metal uni-body design. As far as the display are concerned, The device sports a 5.5-inch full HD screen with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Its fingerprint sensor is embedded into the physical home button key which is quick and accurate.

Hardware and Software

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor clocked at 1.5GHz along with Mali T860 GPU. It comes packed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It runs on an older version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company’s own Color OS 3.0 running on top of it.

Camera

The main attraction of this smartphone is its front-facing dual camera set up which offers an enhanced depth of field (DOF). The front camera is 16-megapixel with 76.4-degree wide-angle lens, 1/3.1-inch sensor, f/2.0 aperture for low light and a secondary 8-megapixel with a 120-degree wide-angle lens that allows for a 105-degree field of view for group selfies. The front camera has different modes like time-lapse, beauty, panorama and features such as colour filter, double exposure and GIF animation. The rear camera comes with 13-megapixel lens coupled with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, 1/3-inch sensor, 1.12um pixel size, f/2.2 aperture.

The smartphone is backed by a 3200mAh battery which we expect to last for a full day of regular usage. The smartphone supports connectivity options like 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/GLONASS, OTG support, a microUSB port, Accelerometer, Light sensor, Digital compass, USB Type C, FM radio and NFC.
