iBall Edu-Slide i9702 Dual Core Tablet launched

With a slogan of improving and elevating the education hub in India,”iBall”, a privately owned electronics company has launched it’s new element,” Edu i9702″ under it’s premium ranges of tablets in the Indian market. Earlier, we have seen some of the leading manufacturer’s like Micromax and Lava contributing under this category.

Dubbed with elegant design and packed with modern features, iBall Edu i9702 is strictly aimed at the colleges and university students. Bending the specification rod and viewing it’s appearance, iBall Slide i9702 comes with 10.1-inch capacitive multi-touch IPS display with 1280 x 800 of pixels resolutions, it is nice to see IPS display here as it is nice to use and view without getting irritated in adjusting the angle of the tablet. Shifting the spot light towards Platform dependency, iBall Edu-Slide i9702 run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System powered with a Dual Core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. In terms of Graphics unit and gaming experience of this device, this device packed with Mali 400 GPU support. Defining the device dimensions and measurements, it weighs nearly 622 gms and measures 12 mm in thicknes.

Commenting on the launch, Sandeep Parasrampuria said, “We’re entering with a motive to complement our education system, not replace it. There is a dearth of quality content in this sector and with increasing number of tablet users, now’s a great time to present iBall Edu-Slide powered by eTeach. Our goal is to make optimum utilisation of the technology enhancements and create an environment where education is made easy and interesting.”

Enumerating the Storage Specifications, iBall Edu-Slide i9702 support 1GB DDR3 RAM, 8GB of internal memory which can be easily expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card slot. Briefing it’s Connectivity Specifications, it support 3G via USB Dongle, WiFi b/g/n, and an HDMI Port which can be easily connected with projectors and TV helping students in their projects presentations, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm Audio jack etc. So basically we do not have inbuilt 3G connectivity feature in this tablet.

Specifying it’s Photography compartment, it comes with a 2MEGAPIXEL of primary camera and a VGA front-facing camera. Apparently it is a very basic camera if you compare it with other contenders in this segment. Since this is an educational tablet, it comes pre-loaded with educational software content by eTeach that offers education materials for Standard I to XII (Maharashtra) in English medium and Marathi medium, Facebook, Zomato, IBN Live, Moneycontrol, Nimbuzz, Cricket Next and Document Viewer.
