SONY Xperia XA1 With 23MP Camera Launched in India for Rs. 20990

Soon after launching the high-end Xperia XZs, Sony has launched its mid-tier Xperia XA1 phone in India at a price of Rs 20,990.

The Xperia XA1 is now available for buying from across all Sony Centers and major electronic stores across the country in White, Black and Pink colours.

The Xperia XA1 is a mid-tier phone with mid-tier specs and a near all-polycarbonate body. The front is occupied by Corning Gorilla Glass while the outer frame is carved out of aluminum. The phone comes with Sony’s characteristic silver round power button on the right and also a dedicated camera shutter key.

SONY Xperia XA1 Processor and Display

The XA1 is powered by MediaTek Helio P20 a 64 bit octa core chipset using 16nm processor clocked at 2.3GHz coupled with Mali T880 GPU. This handset features a 5 inch screen with edge to edge border-less display supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

SONY Xperia XA1 Memory and OS

This is a dual SIM handset that comes packed with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and 256GB micro SD card support. XA1 is running Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box.

SONY Xperia XA1 Camera

A 23MP camera using SONY IMX300 EXMOR RS Sensor with f/2.0 aperture with AF (Hybrid) and steady shot support is placed on the rear. The front camera is a 8MP shooter using SONY IMX219 sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

SONY Xperia XA1 other features and Battery

Other features are 4G LTE, VoLTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, USB Type C, NFC and Bluetooth. Finger Print Sensor is missing. XA1 is powered by a 2300 mAh non-removable battery.

Sony is also offering three months subscription of Sony LIV for free with the purchase of the smartphone. The Sony Xperia XA1 comes with a Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology that monitors the battery’s health and adjusts charging current accordingly to avoid damage and maximise lifespan. There’s also a Stamina Mode that keeps your battery going for longer when you really need it the most by disabling some of the functions and extending the lifetime.
