One of the esteemed manufacturer in electronics industry,”Sony Mobiles” has introduced a new duo of under-budget Smartphones inside the gadgets hub of India. Sony’s Xperia E and Xperia E Dual handsets will be rolled out for sale from 20 March 2013 and already available for pre-order.
Recently, a few weeks earlier Sony Mobiles had also announced it’s two most power packed Smartphone’s under high-price segment and now they have launched two new elements under their budget segment implies that they are looking to target all kind of phone segment , be it premium or budget phone segment. They also have Sony TIPO launched in this price range and these two new have been launched to strengthen their budget portfolio. One of the major difference between these two newly announced handsets could be easily clotted out from their names, Sony Xperia E will support Single SIM facility whereas Sony Xperia E Dual will support Dual SIM with Dual Standby facility. Centralizing towards specification, Sony Xperia E is featured with 3.5 inches TFT Capacitive Touchscreen with 320 x 480 pixels resolutions. It also support 256 K colors with Multitouch up to 2 fingers. To protect the screen from scratches this device gets protected by a Scratch-resistant glass. This device measures 113.5 x 61.8 x 11 mm in terms of dimensions and weighs 115.7 gms approximately. Sony Xperia E sails on Android v4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System powered with Cortex A-5 Single Core processor clocked at 1 GHz with Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon chipset and Adreno 200 GPU support. Briefing it’s Photography Specifications, Sony Xperia E packed with a rear Auto Focus primary camera rated at 3.2 MEGAPIXEL, however it lacks the secondary camera which could be the biggest drawback of this Smartphone.
Throwing the flashlight towards Storage Specifications, Sony Xperia E will support 512 MB of RAM with 4 GB of internal memory ( 2 GB is for user-usage) which can be easily expandable up to 32 GB via micro SD card slot. Enumerating the Connectivity specifications, Sony Xperia E supports 3G (HSDPA 900 / 2100 – C1505, HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 – C1504), 2G ( GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 ), GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack, micro USB, HD voice, DLNA and FM radio with Proximity and G-sensors.
In terms of battery power, Sony Xperia E baptizes 1530 mAh of battery with 6 hours of talktime and up to 22 days of standby facility. The price of Sony Xperia E is announced at Rs 9,999.
