NXG Electronics, Domestic firm from Pune has launched their new element in the foray of Smartphone segment to pop up their portfolio in the Indian market. XFab 2 packed up with some exciting features and built up with some nice pre-loaded applications.

The phone is equipped with lots of exciting features enumerating towards display,it comes with 4.7″ qHD IPS capacitive LCD display with 960 × 540 pixels resolutions ( IPS LCD display panel ensuring better viewing angles). Under the Belly, this device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System powered with ARM Cortex A9 Dual Core Processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and has PowerVR SGX531 GPU on MediaTek MT6577 chipset. Following the rules set up by most of the domestic manufacturer as a standard feature in their device, this device is also incorporated with Dual Sim (GSM + GSM) with Active Dual Standby technology. In terms of Photography, NXG is dubbed XFab2 with 12 MEGAPIXEL of rear camera with auto focus & LED Flash technology making photo capturing more comfortable for the end user at dark vision, apart from rear camera this device also supports HD Video Recording and a 2MEGAPIXEL front camera for video chat & 3G Calling. XFab 2 packed up with Gravity, Proximity and Light Sensor.

Dealing with the device Connectivity measures, it supports Wifi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Hotspot functionality, Bluetooth with EDR & A2DP, Tethering & portable hotspot, HSDPA, HSUPA, WIFI 802.11b/g/n, EDGE, GPRS. Built In A-GPS, supports voice navigation. Specifying in terms of Storage, XFab 2 supports 4 GB of internal memory which can be easily expandable upto 64 GB via micro SD slot.

It comes with pre-loaded apps such as Facebook, Whatsapp, TOI, custom made Blog App by NXG and more. The company did not provide details about the battery capacity, however it is expected to be dubbed with Lithium-ion polymer battery.

The NXG Xfab 2 mini is priced at Rs. 12,490 and comes with a free 4GB memory card and a screen guard as an introductory offer. It would be available from NXG’s own website and retail stores across India from this February 2013.
