ZTE 3G Data Cards with WIFI hotspot- speed up to 14.4Mbps launched

ZTE Telecom a fully owned subsidiary of ZTE Corporation, the Chinese mobile handset maker has launched two 3G data cards in India. Both of the models are available at a reasonable price tag. Specifying the first in the line up, which will be available at Rs 2,250, this one labeled as high-end data card. In terms of Speed, this data card claims to deliver a reasonable speed up to 14.4 Mbps.

One of the starring feature of this data card is that it can also work as a WiFi hotspot. Most of you will eagerly waiting to know how can we use this feature, it is so easy all you need to do is plug it into a USB charger and the connectivity can be shared between five machines. It also works as a regular data card with a single laptop or desktop.

From the Sources, we also came to know that ZTE has collaborated with DigiLife Distribution and Marketing Services, a 100% subsidiary of HCL Infosystems Ltd., for channel distribution and Flipkart.com for its online sales.

Yuan Kang, director, Terminals Business, ZTE India, said: “We are excited to enter the Indian open market with our first two products and we hope to introduce more devices in the future. India is an important market for ZTE and this is our first step to enter the open market and cater to the needs of the masses with ZTE’s innovative products.”

Coming to the second one in the line up, this data card offers speed up to 7.2 Mbps priced at Rs. 1,799. The main drawback of this data card is that it cannot be used as a Wifi hotspot.
